Okay, I'm in! How do we sign up?

June 2022 COVID RELATED UPDATE. Please read carefully. All emails and enquiries about camps to be sent to Cameron on longhouse@bluegumbushcraft.com.au.

Thanks for bearing with us as we navigate these strange days. We miss you all so much, and are looking forward to spending time out under the big sky, with the river burbling along and the kids playing in the field, and endless cups of tea and stories around the fires in the longhouse.

Last camp we operated under our new covid protocols, and they held up, with a minimum of fear and a maximum of common sense. Here's what they are.
  • We won't ask you about your health choices.
  • We will ask you to show a negative RAT for everyone coming.
  • Please bring extra RATs for ongoing testing during the week, in case someone in your family shows symptoms, or someone in the camp returns a positive test.
  • If you or any of your family test positive, or obviously have covid, we're super sorry but you'll have to leave. We don't have anywhere for you to isolate, or capacity to take care of sick people. And let's face it, it would suck being in your tent feeling crap while people outside were having a good time.
  • If you are immunocompromised, or worried about covid, please take whatever precautions are in your rightness, knowing that we won't be distancing under the longhouse. It might be wise to bring your own dinners if you're at all concerned, rather than signing up for the communal meals.
  • Please know that there is a good chance that covid will be at the camp. If you come, you do so knowing there is a risk of exposure.
  • Masks are optional. Food servers, however will be masked.
  • If someone at camp does show a positive RAT, a lovely information officer (probably me) will manage all queries and update everyone about any further cases in camp.
  • WE WILL ALWAYS OPERATE WITH TRANSPARENCY AND COMMON SENSE.

WHEW. Now that all that is out of the way.... YAAAAY, we're running two camps this April! Woohoooo :)

SPRING CAMPS ARE NOW OPEN FOR BOOKING
Sep 26 - 30
Oct 3 - 7
25% of places are reserved for new families (thank you so much for your patience, we know you've been dying to come!)

TO book, you'll need to fill out the registration form, and pay on trybooking following the link button. Both of these are necessary to hold your place.

Thanks again for being so wonderfully patient as we navigate these changeable times. We can’t wait to get back out into the bush with you, alongside our gorgeous river, tea and chats under the longhouse, with the kids all playing in the field and our village singing songs and telling stories over bowls of camp oven stew.

Please contact Cameron on longhouse@bluegumbushcraft.com.au with questions and bear with us as we work our way through getting the camps rolling again.

Big love
Gina (Camp Mama)

TO REITERATE OUR COVID POLICIES: RATs are a condition of entry for every person coming. We recommend stocking up on RATs now while they are widely available, before any future surge in cases. If you or any of your family have covid we will refund your camp fees and ask you not to attend this time.

Please know that if you choose to come to camp there could be some unvaccinated adults, and of course there will be unvaccinated kids. If this causes you any concern or anxiety, get in touch. While we will be distancing where possible, have ample hand sanitiser, and will be in outdoor settings where transmission risk is minimised, we can make no guarantees. We respect your ability to choose what is best for the health of your family.

We Look Forward to Seeing You in the Bush!

PRICES

There are two parts to the programme. Your Rewild Tribe Family fee, and the Rewild Your Child or Teen Mentor component.

ReWild Tribe
 - $350 per family including GST
ReWild Your Child (age 3-15) - $590 per child including GST
Teenage Leadership Mentoring Programme (Age 16-18) - $490 per teen including GST
Meals: Dinners are $70 including GST per person FOR THE WHOLE WEEK, not per night.

So, for example, a family on the ReWild Tribe camp, making their own dinners, and with one child participating in ReWild Your Child activities, pays a total of $940 for the week

Cancellations: Deposits are transferable to one future program when more than 30 days notice is given. If you can't make that program for any reason the deposit is forfeit. If less than 30 day's notice is given, deposits aren't transferrable.

There is a strict no refund policy on deposits as on every camp we turn many families away to hold your place. If you find another family to take your place for the camp, we'll refund your deposit. Thank you for your understanding.

Payments will be refunded for verifiable covid reasons in the week before camp. So if any of your family has covid, or is a close contact of someone with covid, we will ask you not to come to camp this time, and we'll refund your fees.
