Making Fire
Tribe Experience, July 2012

One of the most fun skills - no matter how many times you make fire from scratch, it never gets old.
First we built the fire structure with the smallest, driest sticks we could find.
Then we used the hand-drill method of firelighting to create a a glowing ember.
We placed the ember into a dry Banksia cone and blew that into flame.
Good work, boys!
